With the popularity of the Internet has come the opportunity to partake in a plethora of new services. Who would have imagined that you could, for example, learn the fundamentals of the Spanish language from an online course? All you need is an Internet connection and the desire to learn.

Online language-course services not only offer fast-paced Spanish language lessons but many also try to make the learning experience a pleasurable endeavor.

Finding the best course to learn Spanish can be a daunting task, especially on the internet where there is so much to choose from. So, how do you find the best one? Here are a few tips to consider when deciding which course is the best to help you learn Spanish:

1 Carefully read about the course before you buy. What aspects does it cover? Will

it take the beginner to a competent level? Is there a guarantee of its

effectiveness? A money back guarantee is essential to allow you to evaluate the

materials.

2 Choose a Spanish course that offers interactive learning, where you actually participate and use your voice to repeat words and phrases out loud.Your Spanish course must provide you with basic conversational guides that cover widely used words and phrases. Short, simple phrases are easy to learn and will make a huge difference in how you are received by your Spanish-speaking counterparts.

3 Make sure the course has audio lessons, which help your ear get used to the sound of the language and help you pick up the accent faster.

4 Enjoyable Learning: Make sure the Spanish program you choose is fun to use.

If your program is boring and repetitive, it will sit on the shelf gathering dust. If you are purchasing a program for children, make

sure it has games and great audio so the kids will be captivated while they

learn Spanish.

5 Compare prices for the type of content offered. Many times you can find Spanish courses that offer about the same information,

but the prices fluctuate greatly. Many Spanish courses that cost several hundred

or even thousands of dollars sometimes just aren’t worth it.

What is wrong with america? Towns are changing signs so the hispanics can read and drive WTF! This is enabling them to get lazier (not all are lazy though.) If we go to mexico we are expected to learn there language not the other way around. But in america we need to learrn there's so it easier for them. Absolutely ridiculous. Changing signs to spanish also should be illegal in the states I believe.

Actually, I think we do need to learn other languages. It doesn't necessarily have to be Spanish, but if you are talking about being lazy, why are we so lazy that we can't learn another language? People who speak more than one language do better in all their subjects at school. (I'm not talking about people who are not fluent in the mainstream language. They will struggle in all their subjects at school.)

However, I understand your point and I supported the English First movement back in the 90s. I have nothing against Spanish, but I also respect every other language group represented in the US. However, a country can't work unless everyone can understand the same language/languages. We have to choose at least one langauge that we will ALL learn, and it makes sense that that language be English before any other. After that, if a state, such as my state of Louisiana, wants to choose another language or two that everyone is expected to learn, then more power to them. Louisiana chose French back in the 60s. Our constitution says we are a bilingual state. Sadly, we are not. I wish we were.

I want to learn spanish because my boyfriend is Columbian, and also because I would like to be able to do business with spanish speaking people. Where/how is the fastest way to do this? I'm really good at learning languages. I Aced Spanish in Highschool, but I don't remember that much. I practice with my boyfriend, and try to learn, but it's easier in a school environment with a textbook and a teacher.

The best thing to do is to IMMERSE yourself in the language. You're lucky, to have a Columbian boyfriend to practice Spanish with, and keep up the practice. Try to speak nothing but Spanish with him, and you'll force yourself to learn to communicate in that language, just as if you've really immigrated to Columbia. Just remember that there are slight differences between South American Spanish and Spanish-Spanish. So. Here's a nice, economical, shoe-string budge way to learn Spanish.

Head out to your public library, and get a card if you don't have one. Borrow all the DVDs you want, making sure that they have Spanish dubbing. While you're at it, get a few Spanish-language audiobooks if you want. Go home, and watch/listen to what you got over, and over, and over again, with English subtitles, until you've got every single line down PAT. With meanings. Done? Congratulations. You've now expanded your language store by about 200%.

Additional advice - Buy Spanish-language translations of books you love or read a lot. For some people, that might be the Holy Bible. For others, it's an entertaining novel. Most importantly, you must recognize your learning experience as a COMMITMENT. That's right. No slacking for you. Put aside a little time everyday devoted to learning Spanish. 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour - it doesn' t matter, so long as you get a constant dose of the language you're learning. Subscribe to a Spanish publication or newspaper, or just get onto some Spanish websites (BUT they must be proper Spanish websites, not poopsie ones put up by people with no better knowledge of the language than you). Try El Pais ( http://www.elpais.es ) or El Mundo ( http://www.elmundo.es ) for Spanish news. I'm sure you or your boyfriend have heard of them. BBC has a nice little Spanish section ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/spanish/index.shtml ) I've got a whole list of Spanish-language-learning resources, come to think of it. Here's a short sampling. Good luck.

Learning Spanish is a popular pastime, as well as a serious goal for many individuals. Whether it’s for use in the workplace, on vacation, or just for a challenge, learning Spanish poses many fresh obstacles and gets the brain working like the way it used to. In fact, learning in later life has been proven to help preserve mental agility and awareness, as well as being a great, rewarding way to pass the time.

But where to begin, there are so many choices. Classroom study, while great for face to face learning, is not always convenient for the hectic lives we all lead. It requires extra time for traveling to and from classes, while having to arrange your schedule around class times someone else has determined. For the really dedicated and adventurous types, you can immerse yourself into a Spanish environment. You’ll certainly learn, but packing up and moving to a different city or country, is just not practical for everyone. There is a better alternative.

The internet provides an excellent opportunity to learn Spanish online. Finding the best course to learn Spanish can be a daunting task, especially on the internet where there is so much to choose from. So, how do you find the best one? Now I will give you some tips to help you choose the best spainsh course to learn spanish fast online:

1 Always be sure that anything you buy online comes with at least a 30 day money back guarantee. The consumer is pretty heavily protected these days, especially if you make your purchase using a credit card. Many reputable training courses, will allow you to try the course for a free trial period. This way you know if the course is good for you and the way you learn.

2 The learning should be fun. The material should be engaging. With creative use of multimedia, and game type exercises, learning Spanish should be fun.

3 Make sure the course has enough material and is complete. There are many courses that fall short in this area. You want to make sure there are enough exercises and lessons in the course to enable you to learn Spanish thoroughly enough to carry on conversations.

4 Compare prices for the type of content offered. Some spanish courses offer about the same information, but the prices fluctuate greatly.

I am from Australia and am planning a trip to Mexico and South America in a few years. I am wanting to learn a language but am unsure if Spanish or Latin American would be more beneficial. Any suggestions

I've never heard of "Latin American" being offered as a language. The two languages primarily spoken in Central and South America are Spanish and Portuguese, mostly the former. The Spanish that you'll find in Mexico is different from what you'll learn in a classroom, but not to an unintelligible level — it's the same with learning most languages in a classroom and actually speaking them. I'm learning Modern Standard Arabic right now, but the actual spoken dialects are far different. Nonetheless, I'll be understood and capable of understanding.

The same is true of learning Spanish. Although your first couple of weeks there, you may get a few strange looks as you pick up the idioms, different ways of speaking, etc. If you do plan on going to Brazil, Spanish and English will be enough to get you by. You can find English speakers most anywhere, and Spanish and Portuguese are somewhat mutually intelligible. Most of the Romance languages are to one extent or another.

I can only assume that this Latin American course attempts to teach a dialect of Spanish local to Mexico or another Central/South American country (which all have somewhat different dialects… a little like Oz vs. Boston)… So either way, you probably won't be perfect.

I would go with the "standard" Spanish, if I were you.

What is the fastest way to learn Spanish? What is the fastest way to learn any language at all in a world full of fast-paced people? These questions immediately lead you to answers you want to know.

The Internet is a one-point access you can use to discover new things and its also one source for everything you want to learn. Thousands of articles and products nowadays about learning other language programs are available via the internet. But what is it really that you want to know?

One example of learning easy Spanish or any other language for that matter is the method formalized by Dr. Michael Gruneborg. An example would be how to remember a Spanish word while linking it with a picture or a scene and then associating it as well to its English version.

In this case, let’s use the word slow from the English language which is translated to atrasado in Spanish. The way how you can easily memorize this is to picture a man walking in a slow pace but then trips on an atlas-race-dog miniature. Can you imagine how that looks like? Funny isn’t it? There are no tricks in this type of memorization. The example sentence clearly wants you to remember the scene and the key words which are slow and atrasado. Placing the two words in one sentence and scenario as you co-relate them together, helps a learner to retain the information.

For whatever reason you have why learning Spanish is important to you at the moment or for the rest of your life, this example is a fun and most effective way to learn it. Mental images or pictures you create and store in your head together with the necessary words is such a strong learning tool that will help you remember things easily and fast.

A sure way of learning the entire Spanish vocabulary is to click on this link http://learn-spanish-program.com for an in-depth study.
