Spanish Classes in Detroit

There are two paths you can take to learn Spanish in Detroit: you can go to a Spanish school in Detroit or you can learn in yoru own pace with a home-study Spanish course.

Here are some of Detroit’s more reputable Spanish schools: Language Trainers (1-866-85-54646) www.languagetrainers.com, Detroit Spanish School www.detroitspanishschool.com, Marygrove College (313 927-1363) www.marygrove.edu.

But home study courses have become increasingly popular in Detroit over recent years as they offer a chearper and more time-effective and convenient way to learn Spanish – you can learn from your living room or your car, and in your own time, you don’t have to travel to a class across Detroit three nights a week.

An advantage of home study courses often identified by Spanish teaching professionals is that crowded classrooms tend to slow down to the pace of the slowest student, which is unfair on the stronger students but can only be fixed if the Spanish schools actually kick remove the students who can’t keep up (which not many schools are going to do!). Also in a classroom the teacher’s attention is divided between yourself and 10 or 20 other students.

In the past there were not many good home study courses available as an alternative to traditional classes, But today there are some very good ones available. The most popular one is a course called rocket Spanish You can read a review of this course here: Rocket Spanish Ananlysis

If you read about Rocket Spanish and still decide you’d rather learn at a Spanish school, make sure that you ask them beforehand how much individual attention students get, and how fast lessons progress at. If you’re not satisfied with their answers, try a different one.
